I’m a poet-turned-PR-pro-turned-UX designer. I believe that metaphor and image can help us get at the true nature of things, which is why I’m obsessed with using my visual and written skills to create value and make meaning. 

My background in English literature and poetry has contributed to a deep understanding of rhetorical situations, and I find myself most at home parsing the unique circumstances and needs of users.

As a designer, I’m adept at understanding audience in the context of business needs — my strategic, Type-A brain is the perfect complement to my creative side.

I believe the unique genius of humans is that we have the opportunity to make the world a better place and that informed design will help us get there.

At the end of the day, I’m a maker, and I firmly maintain that we don’t create in a vacuum. I’m excited by new challenges, and am committed to sustainable and ethical designs that translate passion, innovation and imagination to make meaningful change.
